Some forums can only be seen by registered members. I know everyone dreads calling unemplloyment if you have a problem claiming benefits. However after calling for 2 days in a row to speak to an agent and being told "Due to the high volume of calls at this time we can not take your call, please try back at a later time". I called back and pressed the menu option for the spanish version, now i do not understand a thing in spanish but i was on hold for 5 mins and i was transferred to an agent, i said i dont speak spanish she said no problem and assisted me, i got cut off my cell lost reception so i redialed and did the same thing and got an agent in 5 minutes for the spanish.

I just call the direct line to the freehold call center and just keep hitting redial. I usually wait 40 mins during the day and about 20 mins in the morning before am. Or i just hop in my car and head to the Toms River unemployment office at am and wait till they open or get there at about 3pm in the afternoon and it's usually easy to speak to someone. Yesterday I held for 3 Hours and 20 Minutes. Almost to the second of the projected wait time when I first connected.

Both weeks only my base weekly benefits were deposited. I can not find anything about it on the website or FAQs. I got checks for three weeks then they just stopped and was not given a reason other than I am getting a credit for the week but I need human intervention to collect but give me no phone number to call and there is no way that they are even taking calls from anyone I have tried to call over 30 times in the last two weeks and I called about 15 minutes before the phone lines open and they already had the message up saying because of volume to call back the next day.

I sent an email to my representatives just now and I got a response asking for follow-up info within 5 minutes! We'll see what comes of it but I can't tell you what a relief it is to finally get some sort of response about my claim.
I clicked all three and filled out my personal information along with all five of my confirmation numbers for the weeks I claimed.
Within ten minutes, I got a call and she said she would forward my information up to Dept of Labor and I should receive a call from a restricted or private number on Saturday. They all are working from home, and their personal cellphone numbers will be blocked.
